A little bit about Orkid!
Orkid beauty rooms of Aberdeen have celebrated a highly successful two years in business.
Teresa Leitch, owner of Orkid, has been in the beauty industry since the early 1990's and has worked in a number of top
salons.
She also lectured at Aberdeen College where she shared her passion of working with, and retailing, top cosmetic products
and brands.
Teresa joined the Sisley brand in 2003 as counter manager at E&M in Aberdeen. While there she won a finalist place
in the 2003 Esprit magazine Consultant Awards. In this nationwide contest, sponsored by the London College of Beauty Therapists,
she took a top six place.
Teresa has also worked with top make-up artist Armand Beasley (www.armandinternationalltd.com).
Seeing an opportunity to open up what became Orkid, Teresa soon attracted the backing of Sisley, and Orkid is now the
only salon in Scotland to stock this range of cosmetics. A spokesperson for Sisley said: "We felt Orkid was the perfect environment
for Sisley products."
Orkid offer a range of treatments including botox and restylane, semi permanent make-up and IPL (intense pulsed light)
as well as Lycon waxing.
Top manicurist Leighton Denny offers a a range of manicure products and Orkid are an official stockist of these exclusive
products.

All Orkid staff are fully trained. The team consists of Teresa, Pam, Lynne, Karrina, Rachael and Sara. On request are
Mandy, who specialises in semi-permanent make-up, Wendy, who specialises in IPL and holds monthly clinics, and Dr Vicky Guthrie.
Dr Guthrie, who has been a GP in Aberdeen since 1993, has had an interest in cosmetic treatments for a number of years and
offers free half-hour consultations to discuss botox and restylane with clients including the processes and follow-up care.
Orkid offers one of the widest ranges of cosmetic and beauty treatments as well as products in Aberdeen, and all their
services are delivered by trained professionals to ensure every customer receives the best possible results.
